Both teams showed flashes of an offense that threatened to break the game wide open; but when in the shadows of the goal-line the defenses of both teams teams became almost impregnable. Twice Kittrell College got in side the ten yard line only to be denied by a hard-fighting defense nut up by their opponents. On one of these occasions the ball rested op the one haif yard Tine but recovered a fumble saved the day lor Edward Waters.
