Basically, the system consists of

pieces of furniture and an old
trunk containing some quilts and

Up to that time, they had
never had an opportunity to
establish a credit rating for
anything more than groceries
and work clothes at the plan

ment made them the loan on
the basis of their good farming
record and their reputation for
being dependable. And, says
their county Farmers Home
supervisor, Waiter E. Stricter,
they have lived up fully to
their reputation.

By following Mr. Strider’s ad

assistant, S. L. Neal, the Hayeses
made such good crops on their

promptly, that soon they had es

In line with the goals of the
Farmers Home, Mr. and Mrs.
Hayes* outstanding credit rating
enabled them to “graduate” from
this agency to the Farm Credit
Administration. Through the FC-

couple later bought 63 additional
acres to enlarge their farm.
