cently. All members, including the
class’s advisor, Mrs. James, were
in attendance. Daniel Crandall,
class president, gave a farewell
speech from the subject, ‘'God's
Goodness and Mercifulness" in
which he stressed the giving of
ihanks to God for blessings already
received from Him. Miss Dolby
served refreshments and the meet
ing closed with well wishes for all
during the summer.

review of the lesson.

music for the morning service with

gan in the absence of R. Herndon
Toole, the regular organist for this
group.
The Rev Miss Laura Edwards
gave the Mother's Day message,
which was most inspiring and in
spirational to the old as v/eil as to
the young. Taking Hannah as en
example of Motherhood, giving her
child to the Lord ever, before birth
was very impressive. Rev. Willie
Moore was pulpit guest.

vices started at 11 o’clock with the
junior choir in charge of music, un -
der the direction of Mr. Leon Hay
wood, Tne pastor delivered a very
wonderful sermon from Romans,
13th chapter, 7th verse: “Our
Debts." A duet was beauifully ren
dered by Misses Ernestine Person
and Bessie Ann Smith. At 4:p. m.
a very colorful tea was sponsored

a very nice program was rendered
