The Thursday sessions will begin
at 10:00 A M. and will feature the
reports of the delegates. The Rev
F C Covington will deliver the
noon mesage and will be assisted by
his choir and congregation. The af
ternoon session will feature the lo
cal preachers Each participant will
conduct a regular service, including
the taking of the offering. This Is
being done in order to determine,
how well they have been able to
grasp church decorum.
Attorney Hall E. Langford will
deliver an address at 6:30 P. M. and
the Ebenerer Gospel Chorus will
sing The Rev R. L. Speaks will
oreach the “Educational Sermon"
at, 8 P. M. Tt. Is expected that his
choir will sing and a large group of
the members of St. Mark Church,
Durham, will be in attendance.
The final day’s sessions will
begin with the “School of the
Prophets" at. 10:00 A. At. The

District Leadership Training School,
sponsored by the Durham District
A M. E. Zion Church, which open
ed at the Corinth Church Monday,
closed Friday night.
The School was planned and
conducted by the presiding eid
er, the Rev. J. A, Brown. Dr.
R. L Speaks, Durham, served
as the dean and taught church
policy. Mrs Morelle Horton,
Pittsboro, taught the classes to
Bible. Mrs. Janie Speaks, also
of Durham, had charge of the
music, while the Rev. Brown
taught the classes to steward
ship.
The persons in charge of religious
education from the churches
about the stewardship of wor
ship.
The Christian method of giving
will be led by C F. Hammond F.
