totaling $32,249,260 were issued by
public officials in 36 North Caro
lina cities of more than 10,000 popu
lation during January and Februa
ry. the Slate Department of Labor
reported today.
Labor Commissioner Frank Crane
said the two-months total wag 16

reported by the cities for the first
two months in 1961.
Building permits totaling $17,180.-
345 were issued by the cities dur
