She has removed her natural eyebrows and now paints on some artificial ones about a half inch or so above the old line, and as a result, she now has a startled, "what'a up" appeal ante about her. Do you think :t would be all right for me to say something to her about tins, or is in City Whitakers Nashville and Laurinburg. At left front ie Gendetyn Tweedy, daughter of Mr and Mrs. W. R. I do love her very much. JIGGS. DEAR JIGGS: The fact that you love the girl should make it some of your business. Be tactful. Tell her what a wonder ful job Nature did on her in the first place, and that you think she would look ever so much better if she allowed Nature to take over again. DEAR SALLY: I’m a bride of three months, and now I’m worried about a dominant streak my hus band i* already beginning to show. Ever since I was graduated from college two years sgo. I've carried on an extensive correspondence with college friends, both male and female. Mv husband is stoutly main taining that it is wrong for me to correspond with other men, even if everything is platonic. I hate the idea of breaking off with these peo ple, because they ARE very good friends and our letters have never been anything but friendly and in formative —never the slightest hint of romance. Do you think my hus band is in the right to demand this of me’ OINNY DEAR OINNY: A mature man would tolerate his wife's cor respondence with old college friends. I think your husband's attitude .Is one not so much of dominance as of personal Inae eurlty. DEAR SALLY: What ran a girl do when, after three years of try ing to be a good wife and mother, she realises that she still Is in love with a former sweetheart with whom idle went steady for two years previous to breaking off and meeting her present husband? My husband is a good, kind, and con siderate man. but he arouses no flame in me. 1 bumped into my former boyfriend a week or so sgo, and something clicked in both'of us. Ho wants me to leave my husband and marry him. Do you think I sould do this, or must I resign my self to a whole lifetime of unhappi ness because of one foolish mis take? I'm still very young, only 21 years old. Please advise me SORRY DEAR SORRY: Young though you are. It's about time you were growing up and began ap preciating that “good. kind, and considerate man" you now have. You made your decision three years ago—now stick with It and make it work. Too often the glamour of that second marriage w ears off sooner than that of the first marriage and besides, you have the big re sponsibility of motherhood to consider. * DEAR SALLY: I'm a widower cf S 3. and have ocen dating a widow of 49 for the past several months. I've mentioned the idea of marriage to her, but she keeps telling me she is not quite ready yet to make such a decision. She docs go out with several other men. but she has given me every reason to be lieve that I'm No. 1 with her My problem is that, while idle exhibits affection toward me when we are alone, she never give the slightest hint of it when we're with other people, such as her family and her children not even letting me hold her hand I think this is fool ish for a woman of her age. and I don't like being compelled to hide my real feelings for her in the pre sence of others.
