I Darden, of Raleigh. N. 0., has been j making the Annual examination ofj the banks of the County during the j last week. The only criticism we j hear at all is that the banks of thej mountain sections carry some over- j drafts. A practice which the Examiner says must be discontinued. This j is a ruling which our local banks say they will have to follow to the letter. Let us suggest that the patrons of the banks keep a iittle closer tab on ' their Bank accounts and thus save embarrassment to all. DEMOCRAT A CASF But j\o I T IS A CASH BOOK 1! THAN < HOUSE N. L.
