News Of The Week At Appalachian Hi School Sportswise, this has been an ex citing week for Appalachian High School, what with the Tri-County tournament in basketball, the State wrestling meet, and the tournament down in Hickory, where our boys took fourth place. Congratulations to Mrs. Gentry and her girls varsity team for win ning the tournament trophy on Monday evening, February 28. It was a well-played game, a fitting climax for a , splendid season.
