servation and Marketing of N. C.
State College.
1. This market was organized by
the Home Demonstration dub wo
men for Watauga county but any
citizen of Watauga or neighbor
ing counties who abides by the
rules and regulations, produce
their own food and trade in Wa
tauga county may setl on the mar
ket.
2. Each producer must pay a fee
oI 5% for the privilege aI selling.
3. Each seller is required to
wear a plain white cover all uni
form and hair net.
4. Members are not permitted
to buy and resell.
3. Members are not allowed to
solicit business from customers
who ire not within the bounds of
dieir selling apace.
6. All prepared food must be
covered with visible material such
as plastic batfs. Sarin wrap.
7. Display apace must be dean,
attractive and uniform. Each sell
er Is responsible for her own
apace for appearance.
8. Prices must be ported on a
backboard so they may be read
from all paru of the market.
Prices must not be changed by
marketers.
9. All products must be stand
ard at all times.
10. Use sales ticket with cach
purchase. (Carbon copy for cus
tomers.)
11. Marketers must leave sales
tickets with secretary and treasur
er before leaving.
12. The market must be clean,
sanitary, at all tildes.
13. Each seller will be required
to have a health certificate.
14. Sellers are to atand behind
their products. Refund money if
customer is not satisfied.
18. The chairman should see
that rules are obeyed.
Any violation of the above rules
forfeits the right of the producer
to sell on the market.
The market committee will wel
come any seller who abides by
these rules and regulations.

Dies Saturday
Mrs. Nannie Greene Greer, 72,
of Vilas, Route 1, passed away i
around 7:30 a. oi. June II at the j
Watauga Hospital after an extend
ed 91ness. Mrs. Greer was the!
widow of the late Mr. Andy Greer
who died about two years ago.
