fnow which fell on Boone Thursday night. Although it did not (tick on the street* visitors to
the area Sunday could see spots of snow on the hillsides as they enjoyed the fall color of the
trees. Precipitation for Thursday and Thursday night was reported to be 1.19 inch. The snow was
preceded by sleet, hail, and rain, and snow flurries continued through most of Friday despite some
sunshine.
