Carols, Candles Service To Be Held By Baptists The service of carols and cand les will be presented at the Bapt ist Church Sunday evening, Dec ember 10, at 7:48. The service will feature 'a num ber of selections from the Messiah and many of the best known and loved Christmas carols. The "highlight of the evening will be the candle lighting service in which the lighting of the cand les will represent the manner in which the Christian message is to be sent into all the world from in dividual to individual. ? in* Lottie Moon offering for Foreign Missions will be taken during the evening. Southeni Baptists are assaying to give more than nine million dollars for mis sions through the Lottie Moon of fering this year. The First Baptist Church has set a goal of $1,200.00 for this offering of love.
