WHEREAS, the Board of
Commissioners of the County
of Watauga deems it advisable
that the County erect and equip
a new public hospital in order
to provide adequate hospital
facilities for the inhabitants of
said County and desires to pro
vide for the financing of a por
tion of the cost of erecting and
equipping the necessary build
ing or buildings and of acquir
ing a suitable site; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDERED by tha
Board of Commissioners of the
County of Watauga as follows:
Section 1. The Board of Com
missioners of the County of
Watauga has ascertained and
hereby determines that, in or
der to provide adequate public
hospital facilities for the in
habitants of said County, it will
be necessary to erect and equip
a new building or buildings for
use as public hospital facilities
and to acquire a suitable site
therefor, if necessary, within
the County.
Section 2. In order to provide
funds for such purpose in ad
dition to any funds which may
be made available for such
purpoae from any other source,
bonds of the County of Wata
uga are hereby authorized and
shall be issued pursuant to The
County Finance Act of North
Carolina. The maximum aggre
gate principal amount of aaid
bonds authorized by this bond
order shall be Five Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($900,000).
Section 3. A tax sufficient to
pay the principal of and inter
est on said bonds when due
shall be annually levied and
collected.
Section 4. A statement of the
County debt of the County of
Watauga has been filed with
the Clerk of the Board of Com
missioners of aaid County and
is ?pen to public inspection.
Section S. This bond order
shall take effect when approved
by the voters of the County at

editing school plant facilities
in the Watauga County School
Adminlitrative Unit are not
adequate for the maintenance
of public schools for the nine
mouths' school term prescribed
by law, and has requested the
Board of Commissioners to pro
vided the sum of $1,630,000 to
finance additional school plant
facilities such as are described
in Section 1 of this bond order
and which a?id County Board
of Education has determined
are necessary to enable the
County of Watauga, as an ad
ministrative agency of the pub
lic school system of the State
of North Carolina, to maintain
public schools in said Watauga
County School Administrative
Unit for the nine months' school
term prescribed by law; NOW
THEREFORE.
BE IT ORDERED by the
Board of Commissioners of the
County of Watauga as follows:
