Story, too of Mr. and Mrs. Noah Story, of Lexing ton, former residents of Watauga County, returned Frjday from a month's tour of Europe and the Middle East. He was accom panied by two other Baptist ministers. They visited Italy, France, Germany, Egypt, Lebanon and many other countries. With Rev. Mr. Story were Rev. Grady Lem mons, Shelby, and Rev. Charles 1 Thomas, Garland, Texas. The ministers visited Rev. P. i V. ZusSt & missionary in Letxa non, who is supported by the pastors and their congregations. They also have a mission station, which the churches operate in Jerusalem. Rev. Mr Story is pastor of Wayside Baptist Church in Lex kQton. Only Six years old, >*he ?hprch has a membership of 400. The church made it possible for Rev. Mr. Story to make the trio to the Holy Land and the church supported mission fields. During the pastor's absence, visiting ministers held regular services for him at his church each Sunday morning and even ing. Rev. Mr, Allen Will Preach At Valle Crucis The famous Frank K. Allan of Delton, Georgia, will be the missionary preacher at the Preaching Mission being held at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross in Valle Crucis. The Rev. Mr. Alias, his wife and three children, have been living in Dalton for more than five years. He has made a tre mendous impact on the local community and has become famous for conducting preach ing missions all over the south east. Young of Boope will be teaching in the Seminary Extension Center to be opened in Boom October 10, it waa announced this week. He will be teaching the tours#, 'Teaching (or Results 119." The Rev George Hyler, pas tor of the Blowing Kock Baptist Church, will also be teaching at the center. Mr. Hyler will be teaching New Testament 113 which is a survey of the New Testament. Mr. Young is a graduate of Appalachian State Teachers College and of Louisville Sem inary. He has served pastorates at Bakersville and Charlotte. Mr. Hyler is a graduate of Louisville Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently serv ing as evangelistic chairman of the Three Forks Baptist Asso ciation, and has done consider able evagnelistic work during his ministry.
