RETIRED PAT BOOST
The new military-pay law
provides increases in pay for
retired members of the armed
services, aa well as for those on
active duty. The provision in
the military pay bill provides
for an automatic boost in re
tirement pay whenever the con
sumer price index rises more
than 3 per cent in a year. The
increase will be the same as
the increase in the index.
