(723-3777). 6-20-2p Recipe Of Week BY SARAH ANNE SHERIDEN As the weather grows stead ily hotter, the smart home maker will prepare tasty and nutritious meals for her busy family, we suggest a bowl of your favorite soup, a desert and Ham Slaw for a mid-day meal or a Sunday night supper. HAM SLAW 2 to 3 cups diced, cooked 3 c. coarsely shredded cab bage 1 carrot, thinly sliced 1/4 c. chopped green pep per 2 eggs 2 T. sugar 1/2 t. salt 1/4 t. pepper 1/3 c. vinegar 1/3 c. water Cabbage or lettuce leaves Beat eggs. Add sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar and water. Cook over low heat and stir con stantly until mixture thickens slightly—about 2 to 3 minutes. Chill. Combine ham, cabbage, car rot, green pepper and onion. Add chilled dressing and toss lightly. Serve in lettuce or cab bage lined salad bowl. ♦Serves six.
