In Two Weeks
In the Virginia-North Carolina sec
■ tion the bulk of the Virginia and
Spanish peanut crop has already
moved and should be completed with
in the next ten days to two weeks
if weather conditions remain favor
able. However, small isolated lots
still unpicked and not expected to
move until after the first of the year.
Offerings and sales on Virginias are
light although demand is good. This
is due to present heavy commitments
for future delivery. Markets held
steady and prices unchanged from a
week ago at 16% cents for Virginia
Jumbos; 15 cents for Fancys; 14 5-8
cents for Number Ones, and 13% to
