' Mrs. Rhodes was the widow of Captain Jesse T. Rhodes, remembered by older Kdenton residents of Eden I ton. Deceased was the mother of I Mrs. W. 11. Clark, who for a long I time was a resident of Edenton when . her husband was connected with the • peanut business, here. She had made her horrte with her daughter in l’iy j mouth.
