Demonstration Club At Center Hill Meets Various Projects Dis cussed and Committee Appointed The Home Demonstration Club of Center Hill met Thursday afternoon, | December sth at 3 o’clock with Mrs. .1. T. Jordan. The meeting was called to order j by the president, Mrs. J. T. White, “Silent Night” was sung and the club collect was repeated. Mrs. (" White read part of the second chap ter of Luke. Mrs, K. L. Belch gave a reading “Christianity in Christ”. During the social period Mrs. R. j M- Smithson led a very interesting 'luiz program and Christmas gifts were exchanged. The hostess served a very delicious salad, saltines, cake and coffee. METHODIST SERVICES Preaching services will be held in the Methodist Church Sunday morn ing at 11 o’clock, when the pastor, the Rev. H. E. Surratt, will preach on the subject “Christmas and Christ”.
