Coffleld, daughter of the late Josiah and Nancy Coffleld, passed away at her home near Eden ton, Wednesday, December 17, at 11 o’clock. She had been in failing, health for many years. She was a member of Center Hill M. E. Church and a former school teacher in Chowan and adjoining counties for 35 years. Funeral services were held at her home Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by the Rev. Arthur L. Stephenson, assisted by the Rev. E. R. Meekins. Burial was in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were B.
