All business mat ters were shelved for the meeting in order to hear Mr. Roberson’s ad dress. He met with the club assemb ly an hour prior to the meeting, when the usual check-up of the various committees was made and plans dis cussed for club activities the re mainder of the year. Homecoming Thursday At Colored High School The homecoming game for the Edenton colored high school will be Thursday night at Hicks Field when the Edenton‘Dragons meet the Tar boro high school. The homecoming celebration will begin Thursday afternoon at 4:45 o’clock with a parade beginning at the high school and proceed down Oakum Street, turning at Water Street and thence up Broad Street to Hicks Field.
