ToMeetlnSoftial Game On April 3lltii Local Tribe Challenges Pasquotank Tribe of Elizabeth City Plans are now under way to stage a softball game between Chowan Tribe of Red Men and Pasquotank Tribe of Elisabeth City. Pete Man ning, manager of Chowan Tribe’s outfit, reported at Monday night's meeting that a game has been sched uled to be played on Hicks Field Sat urday night, April 30, starting at 8:30 o’clock. Mr. Manning stated that the famous Elizabeth City Baad will most likely accompany the Elizabeth City Red Men to Edenton and that it is hoped the game will attract a large crowd. Assisting Manning in rounding out a Red Men’s team is Lonnie Harrell. They have called for a practice late Friday afternoon. It is the purpose to put into action a group of old-tim- ; ers, including Willie Saunders, Arthur -Hollowell, Louis Francis, Gus Nixon, Jim Daniels, Ralph Hollowell, G. E. Cullipher, William Wright, M. L. Flynn, Willard Rhoades, William Adams, John R. Lewis, Gus Bunch, Lloyd Parrish, Leroy Skinner, John Lee Spruill, E. R. Spruill, J. H. Thig pen, Horace White, Ledell Parker, John Brabble, Hal Davis, Carl Keeter, : Jack Barrow, William E. Barrow, George T. White, George W. Evans, C. C. Wiggins, Jack Mooney, T. R. Tynch, Jr., J. E. Hughes, Frank Hughes, J.
