Jr. Neman's Club Has lively Meeting Agrees to Take Part In Daisy Alice WardT Fund . Edenton’a Junior Woman’s Club held its regular luncheon meeting on Wednesday of last week at the Joseph Hewea Hotel. The meeting was called to onder by the president, Mrs. John Graham. The pledge was read by the members and the collect by Mrs. C. B. Mooney, Jr. iMrs. T. B. Smith read a poem concerning Edenton which was written by Mrs. Elizabeth Boylan Ross of Norfolk, Va. This poem was awarded a prize by the Virginia State Garden Association. Senior Class BY NANCY BOSWELL It’s a busy time of the year for the , ISeniors, for they are getting their j caps and gowns discussing their class night play and studying for their exams. : The members of the Senior Class have chosen their class night play ; which is entitled, ‘‘The Senior Merry- Go-Round.” Certain members have already been assigned to take a par -1 ticular part during the exercises. The Seniors are making plans to entertain their sister class, the Sopho more class, in about two weeks. The Sophomores will carry the Daisy chain as is the tradition. Current was off from about 7:46 until shortly before 11 o’clock.
