Weevil Now At Lull Says County Agent r i Farmers Urged to Keep Watch on Fields For Punctured Squares * Field checks for the boll weevil on Monday and Tuesday indicate that the weevil is at a lull right now, par ticularly in fields that have been dusted three times. The county agent recommends that all growers dusting skip the remainder of this week and next week unless they hear from him. It is believed that growers will need to begin dusting again about the 20th to the 25th of July. The first genera tion of weevils are expected to come out at that time from eggs laid this season. Then growers will need to put on at least three applications, preferably at 5 day intervals, but cer tainly not longer than 7 day intervals. The county agent urges growers to watch their fields about 6 days care fully for punctured squares. If as many as 4 or 5 are found per 100 squares, it is time to begin dusting MIDWAY I Drive-In Theatre MERRY HILL Two Shows Every Night Starting At 8:00 O’clock Beginning July 1 Every Night Admission.
