According to police White forged 1 checks on W. D. Beasley, deceased, 1 and E. L. Stokes of Colerain. He attempted to cash a check on the latter at Belk-Tyler’s store Monday ( but after becoming suspicious, he was' ins true .ed to go to the ißank of Eden-| ton to have the check cashed. It 'was there he was picked up by the] ' police.
