PAGE SIX ' * Our Neighbors By MISS REBECCA COLWELL Chowan County Home Agent — i / I believe that the women who have attended the Home Demonstration Club meetings this month are con vinced that good equipment and im proved methods of ironing will make that part of their work much easier. What happened to you who did not attend? “Let’s Make Ironing Easier” is a very practical and helpful demon stration, and if you missed it in your own club perhaps you can attend ano ther meeting this month. The following Home Demonstration Clubs met last week with their new officers doing an excellent job: Ad vance: President Mrs. Woodrow Lowe, with the aid of her veteran secre tary, Mrs. J. C. Skinner; Center Hill: w'th Mrs. B. P. Monds presiding, Mrs. H. T. Hollowell, acting secretary, and Mrs. E. L. Belch, treasurer; Gum Pond with a brand new set of officers, Mrs. Carey Evans, president; Mrs. Marvin Smith, viete-president; Miss Ila Bass, secretary; and Enterprise also had new officers: Mrs. Hurley Ward, president; Mrs. Scott Harrell, vice-president, and Mrs. Edward Hare, secretary.
