Funeral Held Sunday , For Vernon Hughes - (Funeral services were held Sun day afternoon at 3 o’clock in the Macedonia Baptist Church for Vernon Hughes, 37, who died Thursday in Kings County in Brooklyn, N. Y. The Rev. Bennie Crawford, pas tor of the church, officiated and inter ment was made in the Macedonia churchyard. .are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude P. Hughes; one son, Thomas E. Hughes of Brooklyn; one brother, James IN.
