SECTION THREE MHIIG WITH THE COUINULS By JIM NASH Baseball is every youngster’s game and is often carried on into adult life with most of us. With the opening of the baseball season here in the Albemarle, support of the Edenton Colonials is building bigger and bigger day by day. Many people are contributing time, effort and money to field a real contender in. the form of the Colonials. The league schedule will be published in the next issue but it looks as though the opener at Hicks Field will be somewhere in the neighborhood of June Ist. A big home opener with free hot dogs and soft drinks is in the making. We’ll have more on that in the next issue glso. / —for N. C. Senate Vote for and Support A. PILSTON GODWIN, JR. The past may be nice to remember, but it is over and done with. The present is always making demands which force us this way and that, against our wills. But the fu ture ah, there is the place i to look! Tomorrow,' everything! is possible! The men who built this na tion and made it prosper are men who dreamed of tomorrow. Yes terday, to them, was something from which to escape. Today was the day of escaping. To morrow held the high goal where everything was possible.
