Aces Break Losing
Streak; Top Ahoskie
Edenton’s Aces broke a four
game losing streak by whipping
Ahoskie 4-1 on the latter’s field
Friday afternoon.
Almost flawless fielding, com
bined with some good pitching
by Jack Bunch, was the key fac
tor in the win. The Indians got
only four 'hits while the Aces
made only one error. Bunch
faced only 13 men during the
! last four innings,

ton run came in the sixth when
Ashley went to second on a wild
throw to first. He came home
on Harrell's double to left cen
ter.
Hunter struck out 11 and walk
ed two while the Indians got
