Eighth Annual Livestock Show And Sale Scheduled To Be Held March 28th Sponsored By Jaycees, Event Will Again Be Held at American Legion Building Edenton’s Junior Chamber of Commerce will again sponsor a Livestock Show and Sale, which is scheduled to be held at the , American Legion building Wed nesday, March 28. It will be the eighth annual event and the Jaycees extend to Chowan Coun ty farmers an invitation to' at tend and participate. In the swine division, there is a class for adults and youth. All hogs entered must be in place by 8:30 A. M., on the day of the show. Hogs may be weighed at the Edenton Feed and Livestock Market or M. D. Baker Hog Market beginning at 1 P. M., on March 27. State graders will be at both of these markets to assist farmers in grading their hogs to enter the show. Any hogs grading be low number 2 will be eliminated at this time. The schedule is as follows: Hogs may be entered beginning at 1:00 P. M., on March 27 and until 8:30 A. M., on March 28. Judging will begin at 9:30. The visiting minister for these services will be the Rev. Carl Hart of Tyner, pastor of the Ballard’s Bridge Baptist Church. Mr. Hart has been at Ballard’s Bridge Church for the past year and is well loved by those who know him. He is a man of God who will bring God’s message in a very inspiring manner.
