modern jazz and has received
special training in children’s
songs and dances. She has re
ceived numerous certificates, di
plomas and honorable mention
in the dancing field.
She has performed since the
age of eight throughout Virginia
and North Carolina,- as well as
New York City. She was a
guest performer before former
Vice President Richard Nixon in
Middlesboro, Kentucky at the
opening of the Cumberland Gap
National Park.
Pupils of Miss Mountcastle
have been outstanding winners
in Talent Contests through the
