Pilgrimage Coming j Rooms Sought For Visitors The anticipated influx of visit ors to Edenton for the 'biennial Pilgrimage of Colonial Edenton and Countryside has caused the sponsors to issue a call for those with additional rooms to make Tour Is Made By Church Group The Methodist Youth Fellow ship of Edenton Methodist Church took a weekend fellowship tour to Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. The group went to Raleigh Sat urday, where they attr nded the N. C. State-Wake Forest basket ball game that night. Sunday they were in Durham and wor shipped at Duke Chapel on the earn pus of Duke University. Following church services, the MYF members toured the campus of the University of North Caro lina at Chain 1 Hill and the near by Research Triangle Center. Those making the trip included: Hiram Mayo, Jr., Hill Ross, Ker mit l.ayton, Brian Twiddy, Jim Barnhill Danny Hassell, Phil Harrell, Nancy O’Neal, Claire Btluh, Gail Cozzens and Carol Lassiter. Therefore, Mrs. Hiram Weeks is head of a com mittee to line up available rooms. In order to provide quarters for some of the many visitors expected, an appeal is being made for homeowners to rent as many rooms as possible in order to cope with the situation. Homeowners who desire to rent one or more rooms during the pilgrimage are asked to con tact Mrs. Weeks, 482-2415.
