Alas, there’s an answer, but goodness knows, We’re in style—it’s NEMATODES! We had such a good time this past Sunday, when Mr. and Mrs. Lindell Ward and <- daughter of Manteo, spent t the day with us. Sondra v Ward is Buff’s granddaugh ter and of course their little girl is the Great Grand Child and she is adorable. She is really a Bufflap, because the first thing she grabbed while Buff was holding her was his pipe which she immedi , ately put in her mouth. An other Bufflap characteristic is her inherent good disposi " "lion, which I’m sure she got from Buff. For the past several weeks I’ve been watching the new home of Mrs. John Habit on North Broad Street, being built and it’s going to be £... 4iuite attractive. I especially !' - like the bowed windows at £ . the front of the house and am anxious to see the finish ed product and I know Mrs. Habit is too. Everyone enjoyed the nice picnic at Arrowhead Beach last week, honoring Barbara and Jim Anderson. They’re such a nice couple, liked by old and young alike. Sure wish they could keep on liv ‘ ing here. By the way, I hear that the James Ervin family of North Broad Street *' who thought they were mov 1/ing from Edenton have de- Minutes Os Board Os Public Works Edenton, N. C., July 6, 1965. The Byrd Homemakers Club met with Mrs. Willi ford last week and we al ways enjoy these meetings. An interesting discussion on various kinds of woolen fab rics was held, led by Mrs. Emily Barrington. Mrs. Wil liford is such a wonderful hostess and always serves such different and delicious refreshments. For instance she had the most dainty sandwiches, made from the following recipe Try it, you’ll surely like them: Grate one medium size cu cumber and 1 medium onion. Add one package (small) of Philadelphia cream cheese and enough sour cream to mix well. This filling can be used on any shape sand wiches and they’re yummy.
