The
Roundup
Everybody else is getting
into the act, so I may as
well, too. A friend of mine
saw an object in the sky
which he could not explain,
told me about it, with the
promise that if he sighted it
again he would call me. He
sighted it again and called.
14m interested in flying sau
cers, but I have often won
dered if much of this saucer
j sighting is not wishful
* thinking. We hope we see
one, so we do. But I am not
so sure of that now. For I
have seen something. Bal
loon? Airplane? Star? It
was DEFINITELY NOT ONE
of these. Nor was it any
known object that I have
ever before witnessed in the
sky. It was intriguing and
puzzling for I could not ex
plain it. I have reached for
a word to explain what it
looked like and the only
thing I can think of is gem.
It resembled a beautiful ■
gem. It was almost round
in shape, sparkling, changing
color from grdeh to red and
red to green, and erratic in
movement. It remained for
about half hour in about one
general position in the south
west then dropping quickly
toward the horizon it disap
peared. What was it? You
tell me. I am not skeptical
where flying saucers are con
cerned, for I definitely be
lieve that there are objects
out there in space that are
i>pt of terrestial origin. Ob
jects which the Air Force
is) desperately trying to cov
er up by denying their exist
ence. But that is ridiculous,
for too many reputable peo
ple have given irrefutable
evidence to the contrary.
What did I see? A flying
saucer? I honestly don’t
know. All I know is I saw
SOMETHING, very beautiful,
very strange—and to me, un
explainable.
Billy Graham, in a recent
interview in which he dis
cussed the California riots,
concluded with this remark:
“ . only the beginning—a
dress rehearsal for revolu
tion.” Revolution is a harsh
word and one which Ameri
cans apply only to what we
consider backward and com
nftmist counties. But in our
smug complacency we over-

look the fact that this coun
try was born in revolution,
although it was a revolution
we considered to be in the
right. There are all kinds of
revolutions, a kind that can
bring chaos and destruction,
and the kind that can bring
peace and harmony to a peo
ple. The American Revolu
tion was the right kind, but
if Mr. Graham is right, the
riots and unrest we are hav
ing around the country are
bordering on the wrong. And
don’t let us forget ,the wrong
kind “can happen here.”
