illness of two months. He I
was a native lifelong
resident pf' Chowan County.
He was the son of the late
R. H. and- Mary Nixon By
rum. .He was a retired far
mer and served in the U. S.
Army in World War I.
Surviving are his wife,
Mrs. Ada W. Byrum; four
sons, Willigm V. Byruin, Jr„
of Suffolk, Mark W. Byrum
