There are false teachers as well as good teachers. Jesus Christ was the most divine teacher tjfat ever walked on this earth. How would I know the false teacher? There are those who teach the doc trine of men and not the doctrine of God. Forbidding to marry and commanding to abstain from meats. They shall turn away their ears from the truth unto fables When you teach, remembei tc teach yourself first. Prac tice what you teach and let the Holy Spirit guide you. Remember, we are- teachers of babes. Let us lead souls to Christ by using God’s Holy Word. Are you teach ing God’s Word? It would be well for us to remember that God gave man—alone of all the ani mals- a free will, and the intellect to use that will. What he does with his life, and with his immortal soul, is the result of the choice or choices he made at the many crossroads of his life. If he chooses to obey God’s commandments, even though he falters by the wayside, if he but strives with all his heart and soul, God will surely know, and being' Compassion incarnate He will see not the sin but the brave fight to overcome it. If, on the other hand, ■man chooses the easy way , of life, heedlessly ignoring j the rights and happiness of ; others while he is bent on getting what he wants out of life then he chooses .a life of disillusionment, lone liness, pain—even hopeless- J aess. True, his amoral be- ; haviour can be forgiven if j he will truly repent; but, I while repenting, he is going ; io suffer the tortures of Ihe ' jiamned as he reflects on a r.isspent life, of the agonies j >f sufiering his careless ap proach to God's command- I ments have brought on the nnocent people around him. . Repentance (true repentance) | s not lightiy won; the re- | wards of that repentance— j God’s forgiveness and ever lasting life—are only gained liter much anguish of spirit. God’s laws are perfect; they are the outgoing love J ind caring of a Holy being. We are mere humans, and | we need guides to keep us | from the pitfalls of that i very state of humanity. God, | as Creator, Sustainer, Re deemer, has the right of su preme command over our lives. He has given us much; He has not faltered from our side, although often we have turned our backs on Him.
