I'm very sorry to have

I’m a Japanese boy of 18
years old and I graduated

High School on March of
this year.
I wish to go to your coun
try and study liberal arts
next year. Then I’m inter

Taken In Death
Jesse W. White, 70, died
Friday at 11:30 A. M., in
Chowan Hospital. Death was
attributed to a heart at
tack.
A native and lifelong resi
dent of Chowan County, he
was a retired agent of Metro
politan Life Insurance Com
pany.
I He was a son of the late
William S. and Minnie Morris
White.
Surviving is his wife, Mrs
Cornelia H. White and one
brother, Willie A. White of
Portsmouth, Va.
Mr. White was a veteran
of World War I.
He was a member of Eden
ten where
funeral services were con
ducted sSunday at 4 o’clock
with Rev. R. N. Carroll of
ficiating. Burial was in
Beaver Hill .Cemetery.
