2/3 cup instant mixed
onion
2/3 cup water
% cup chopped celery
1/3 cup bacon fat
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon sugar
% teaspoon black pepper
% cup water
M> cup vinegar
6 clips diced hot cooked
potatoes
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
6 slices bacon, crumbled
Stuffed olives for garnish
Combine onion and water.
Let stand five minutes and
set aside for later use. Saute
celery in bacon fat or until

and saute three to four min
utes. Add salt, sugar, pep

lands operation of West Vir
ginia Pulp and Paper.

hart of New York said the
30-year-old Bell will take
over his new position August
1. He currently is serving
as a company district forester
in Camden, S. C.
North Carolina Woodlands,
headquartered in Manteo, is
responsible for the manage
ment of more than 300,000
acres of Westvaco forest
lands located in the north
eastern part of the state.
Beil replaces W. J. Crum
packer, who has been assign
ed new duties by the com
pany and will move to Sum
merville, S. C. Lenhart said
that Crumpacker will assume
the position of senior com
pany forester and will work
on special projects for the
division.
Bell is a Manteo native
and an honors graduate from
N. C. State University with
bachelor of science degrees- in
wildlife management
horticulture. He attended
graduate school at Duke Uni
versity.
After working briefly with
the U- S. Park Service at
Cape Hatteras National Sea
shore, Bell joined Westvaco
