His 1962 Chevrolet was slightly damaged. A 1965 Pontiac, being operated by Jerald S. Perry,. Route 1, Edenton, was damaged $l5O in the same .mishap. Fire Chief W. J. Yates re ported that three calls were answered over the weekend by Edenton Fire Department. At 9:45 P. M., Friday, fire men went to the home of Frank Twiddy, Morris Circle, where a furnace had over heated. There was no dam age. At 10 P. M., Christmas Eve, firemen rushed to the home of Ben McPherson, 209 West Albemarle Street, where a flue was burning out. • The only alarm Christmas Day came at 10 A.
