PAGE TWO NepPlaced On Probation judge Fentress Homer of Elisabeth City, presid ing in District Court here Tuesday, convicted Horace Gene Holley, Route 3, nrfmntnn, on four moving traffic counts. Holley was charged with driving after his license was suspended or revoked, improper registration and no liability insurance. He was sentenced to 60 days, suspended and placed on probation for three years. He was ordered to pay a fine of S2OO and costs and not operate a motor ve hicle during period of pro bation. In another case he was charged with failing to stop for a stop sign. Hill To Teach Course In Art Ben Hill, director of the Art Center of the College of the Albemarle in Eliza beth City, is anxious to teach a course in basic painting here if a few more high school students or adults express interest. Hie spring course will be held Thursday after noons from 4:30 P. M. to 6:30 P. M. in the Art Stu dio over Eden ton Savings It Loan Association. The cost is S2O. Supplies will be available in Edenton. Hill expects mostly be ginners, but he will be able to handle a few more advanced students. Those interested should call Hill or Mrs. Ross Inglis. Another art class, for children 4s already un derway. It is being taught by Mrs. Vivian Clark, art director for Edenton City- Schools. Both courses are spon sored by Chowan Arts Council.
