Menton Artist Holding Show MOUNT OLIVS Miss ■tabeth (Betsy) Boss, s native of Edenton and cur rently a member of the last Carolina University art department faculty, is holding « one-woman art show in tiie Henderson Building of Mount Olive College in Mount Olive. She has depicted the landscape of our region in d»«r Work. The public is invited to view the ex hibit the artist received both her B.S. and M.A. de grees. from East Carolina University in Greenville and returned in 1966 to teach drawing and painting. When discussing her work, *he considers drawing to be Catalog Postal Rates Increased Postmaster James M. Bond reminded postal cus tomers today that higher parcel post and catalog rates went into effect Sat urday. The rate increase will average 10.5 per cent and in most cases will mean an additional 10 cents postage per parcel. The 'higher rates were approved by the Interstate Commerce Commission in July. ■Under the new rates the minimum charge for local parcel delivery will go from 40 to 50 cents. The minimum charge for par cels destined outside the local delivery area will be raised from 50 cents to 60 cents. Almost all parcels that are charged up to sl.lO un der present rates will go up 10 cents.
