Exciting Dessert— Banana Split Cake is an exciting dessert for a spring luncheon if you’re
not counting calories. It is made with some new Red Band mixes now on the market.

Cakes are always good
copy.
They are also good eating.
We have told you often that
we collect pound cake recipes
and we promised a loyal sup
porter last week we’d include
our sour cream pound cake
recipe in the kitchen this
week.
Well, we will. We will also
give you a new one but are
a bit embarrassed for we are
not sure where it came from.
We clipped it recently from
some publication with the in
tention to try it but just
didn’t get around to it until
this week. It brought rave
notices from the tasters at
the coffee bar.
