There were Blue Flags in the Spring, And Fall Flowers in September, In between came Chiny Asters, Beautiful Pineys I remember. Now we have Iris in many colors, Chrysanthemums in Bronze and Gold, Lovely Asters blooming brightly. Rosy Peonies I behold. C. year when all the fresh spuing products start coming in and most of us have planted our flowers and vegetables. Buff and I watch from day to day to see if our seeds have pop ped out of the ground. You can almost see them grow and what a wonderful feeling it gives one to know that this ■ is the garden we planted. If: the harvest is poor and the plants are spindly, we are ashamed. I believe our Lord must feel the same way when ! one of His children turns outj wrong. We must learn to! plant the seeds right and harvest them carefully. Here is a recipe for Cheese Biscuits and they sound de licious: 1 lb. grated cheese (half j mild, half sharp). % lb. butter. 1 tbsp. salt 1 qt. plain flour. Dash cayenne pepper. Mix together cheese and butter, salt and pepper and add flour. Roll out Vi inch thick, cut with small cutter and place V 4 pecan on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar. A Few Hints Rub the surface of fish with a cut lemon before cooking to eliminate fish odor and add flavor.
