LOCAL TRAVEL AGENCIES BOOK FISHING WEEKENDS The objective in fishing, a sage once observed, is not angl ing but catching. To help fishing fans catch their share of fun and sun, local travel agents have a new angle: Autumn Weekender va cations to tropical waters. Low, off season rates apply to the special fishing packages —four days and three nights in Florida, the Bahamas or the Caribbean. These areas offer outstanding reef and deep sea fishing for more than 600 varieties of game fish. Charter boats, providing bait and tackle, are included in a number of special fishing pack age tours such as the Autumn Weekender series offered by Eastern Airlines. THE CHOWAN HERALD SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON Continued from Page 4 fleeting, precious commo dity-time. Let us now, as we approach the coming year, that we will not leave the things undone that we have this past year. Let us be of stout heart in the dace of adversity; let us be attuned to the needs of others less fortunate than we; let us be tolerant of our fellow men, slow to anger and swift to praise and en courage. Let us make sure that when the next new year comes along we will have grown in Christ and in His service. (These comments are based on outlines of the Interna tional Sunday School Liipwwiif, copyrighted by the Interna tional Council *f Religious Education, and used by Per mission). Snappy remarks are often senseless utterances. In discussing the cam paign, Cramm said, “(It is a great pleasure to work on a team headed by Palmer. There is equal satisfaction in knowing that contributions raised here in Chowan Coun ty will also benefit the Birth Defects Treatment Center at Chapel Hill, and the Birth Defects Evaluation Center at Morganton. Cramm and his wife, Pat, reside in Edenton. He is the assistant manager of Atlantic Credit Company of Edenton. Active in community af fairs, Cramm is a member of the Edenton Jaycees and the Edenton auxiliary police. He served with the U. IS. Marine Corps from 1964 to 1967.
