Now, speaking of hog wash, since you don’t think there are any friends of the Chowan in Tunis, Chicago or Raleigh, then maybe your type of friends would be those environmentalists in this general area who saw fit last winter to throw dead hogs in Wiccacon Creek, just up stream from where it flows into the river. The contest will begin at 8:30 A. M. and will continue through lunch and supper, until completed. There will be seven weight classes A- G for tractqrs weighing 5,000 - 18,000 pounds. Fourteen trophies will be presented to the first and second place winners in each weight class. Tractor owners are encouraged to enter into the contest. The general public is invited to attend.
