Thursday, October 21. 1976 Mr.Caapta Dies Suddenly At Hospital w. Cyrus Hooper Campen, Qub Drive, died suddenly Sunday at Chowan Hospital. He was 64. Mr. Campen was em ployed as a salesman for Biltmore Hats. A native of Wayne County he resided in the Goldsboro area until a few weeks ago when he moved into a new home on Albemarle Sound. He was the son of the late Benjamin and Mary Stilley Campen and the husband od Mrs. Susan Exum Campen, who survives. In addition to his wife, surviving are two sons: Cyrus Hooper Campen, Jr., of DeKalb, 111.; and Thomas , Johnston Campen of Chapel Hill; a daughter, Mrs. William B. Brown of Raleigh; a brother, Ben Campen of Red Springs; four grandchildren. He was a Methodist and a member of Wayne Masonic Lodge No. 112. Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Tuesday in Edenton Baptist Church with Dr. Robert E. Gray officiating. Burial was in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Williford-Barham Fun eral Home was in charge of arrangements. \ Tel. CRC To Meet At Romada Inn In New Bern The next meeting of the N. C. Coastal Resources Commission will be held on November 4-5, at the Ramada Inn in New Bern.
