explained that, although
registration for regular
college credit courses is
normally accomplished in
the admissions office at the
college’s main campus in
Elizabeth City, it will not be
necessary fqr students to do
this for extension courses.
In-classroom registration
procedures, similar to those
for adult interest classes,
will be adapted for the tax
course, he said.

Church will conduct a “Send
a Mouse to College” fund
raising campaign for the
Chowan County Cancer
Society Saturday.
The drive will be held,
from 10 A.M. until 4 P.M.,«
concentrating on the
downtown area, Northside
Shopping Center, and
various grocery stores.
A “Send a Mouse to
College” button will be
given to citizens con
tributing 50 cents for raising
a mouse, putting him to
sleep, performing an
autopsy, and staining

Water Ski Club
Awarded Sanction
Mike Partin, North
Carolina State Councilman
for the American Water Ski
Association, announced
today that the Pembroke
Water Ski Club of Edenton
and the Tar River Ski Club
of Wilson have been
awarded sanction for the
1977 Southern Regionals.
The states that make up
the Southern Region are:
North Carolina, South
Carolina, Tennessee,
Georgia, Florida, West
Virginia and Kentucky. This
is the first time in the
history of the Southern
Regionals that North
Carolina has been host for
this tournament.
The tournament to be held
on August 5,6, and 7, 1977,
will take place on a small
private lake in Angier,
North Carolina. An expected
number of 250 skiers will
compete in this three day
event for qualification to
enter the nationals.
