Gray, pastor of Edenton Baptist Church, will use as his sermon subject. “Therefore” at the 11 o’clock worship service on Sunday morning. Scripture will be Romans 5:1,2. Special music at the morning service will include the anthem, “O Lord, Most Holy”, by the Sanctuary Choir with J. Russell Baxley as soloist. The Young Musicians, a choir of boys and girls in grades 4-6, will sing “Make A Joyful Noise.” The 7:30 evening worship will be a recognition service for the young people of the church who will soon be graduating from high school. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Lester Jackson. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Walker of Raleigh. The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Harrell of Edenton. Wedding music was provided by Mrs. Conrad ;35ftU»,'bTganisl,' and Mr. ‘ Sfeve Teague, soloist. Mrs. Thomas C. Cross was mistress of ceremonies. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of ivory silk Quana fashioned with a Victorian neckline and yoke of Brussels lace with a border of Venise lace ap plique. The fitted empire bodice and cap sleeves were outlined with matching Venise lace border. The full A-line skirt carried mat ching lace appliques and a border of lace at the hemline flowing into a full chapel train. The matching veil of silk illusion was fingertip length and was bordered with matching lace. Miss Linda Kay Harrell, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were: Miss Teri Woodard, Miss Pat Lilly, Sylvia Wright and Miss Libby Finch, all of Raleigh. Miss Tiffani Wright was flower girl. The father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were: Mr. Mike Walker, brother of the bride; Mr. Phil Harrell, brother of the groom; Mr. Tony Summerlin and. Mr. Bripn Twiddy, all of Raleigh; and Mr. Tony Greeson of Winston-Salem. The mother of the bride wore lime green and the groom’s mother wore light blue. Following the reception, which was held at Plan tation Inn, the couple left for a wedding trip to Key Biscayne, Fla. Upon their return they will make their home in Cary. The bride is a graduate of Enloe High School and Stewardess School for Piedmont Airlines. She is presently employed by National Car Rental Systems, Inc. at Raleigh, Durham Airport. The bridegroom is a graduate of N.C. State University where he received a BS in computer science. He was a member o i Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He is presently employed by Olivetti Corp. An after rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the bridegroom at Swain’s Charcoal Steak House. The bride is a graduate of Perquimans High School and is currently attending Roanoke Bible College. Mr. Copeland graduated from Perquimans High School and is employed with Sutton and Meads Septic Tank Co. The wedding is set for June 19 at 3 P.M. at the Cape Colony Church of Christ near Edenton. Cathedral length sleeves and tiny satin buttons en closing the back of the bodice from which the full traiq,. flowed, accented the gowq.-The bride’s medium length veil of silk net was attached to a Juliet cap outlined in pearls. She carried an old fashioned bouquet of roses intertwined with ivy. Maid of honor was Mrs. Sheila Bootright of Edenton. Mrs. Nancy Bachman was bridesmaid. The attendants carried nosegays of daisies. The mother of the bride wore a two piece acqua floor length gown of polyester and lace. The groom’s mother wore a peach gown with a chiffon capelet. Both mothers wore corsages of white orchids.
