Individual trophies were awarded to the Lakers and Celtics for finishing one-two in the league. Individual medals were given to the rest of the players in the league. Men’s Basketball Final Standings W L Rockets 12 0 Texaco 9 3 WCDJ 4 8 Atlantic Forest 4 8 CreywoodOil 1 11 The Men’s basketball season ended last Friday night in an exciting single elimination tournament with the Rockets coming fron\ behind to defeat Texaco by a score of 50-43. Also, the Rockets beat out Texaco for the regular season championship with a perfect 12-0 record. Team trophies were presented to both the Rockets and Texaco for finishing one-two in both the regular season and in the tournament. Men’s Softball Meeting There will be a men’s softball meeting at the Edenton National Guard Armory on Monday, April 11, at 8:00 P.M. All persons interested in having a team must have a team representative at the meeting. Little League Coaches Meeting There will be a Little League coaches meeting at the Edenton National Guard Armory on Monday, April 25, at 7:30 P.M. All coaches must attend this very im portant meeting. Junior And Senior Babe Ruth League Coaches Meeting There will be a Babe Ruth League coaches meeting at the Edenton National Guard Armory on Monday, April 25, at 8:00 P.M.
