Pleasant, the bride wore a wedding dress of candlelight chiffon with a bodice of re-embroidered aldhcan lace accented with seed pearls. The full bishop sleeves of chiffon banded at | the wrists with lace and | pearls. The gown had a mandarin neckline and empire waist with an A-line skirt. The chapel train fell frotn the waist in back. Her matching bandeau headpiece had a fingertip veil. She carried a “colonial nosegay of lilly of the valley, off-white rosebuds, stephanotis and baby’s breath. Mbs Doris G. Murph, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Sarah Cagle and Mrs. Steve Gaydica, sister of the groom. Miss Angelette Cooper and Miss Wendy Cooper presided at the register. Mr. Fleetwood was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were: Mr. James A. Fleetwood, Route 2, Edenton, brother of the groom; and Mr. John Bullard of Chadburr The bride’s mother wore a long aqua dress of polyester with an empire waist, V-neck and short sleeves. Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs (NCFBPW Clubs), will preside over the 59th annual state convention to be held June 8-11, in Charlotte. Mrs. Hassell is secretary bookkeeper at Byrum Implement Company. Over 700 working women representing NCFBPW Clubs will gather for this convention. The attendees, called to assemble by Mrs. Hassell, are state officers, past presidents, state committee chairmen, .special chairmen, district directors, delegates and alternates. Members and guests from the 4,000-plus membership are also in vited to attend representing the state’s 94 clubs. The clubs of District VII consisting of Amity, Car dinal, Charlotte, Concord, Harrisburg, Metropolitan, Mint Hill and Monroe will be hostesses.
