B Honor Roll Stephen Atstupenas, Laura Lit chfield, Darren Perry, Kim Baker, Jay Gibson, Dianne Death Claims Mr. Boyce Ephriam Jordan Boyce, Sr., 71, Route 2, Edenton, died Sunday in Chowan Hospital following an illness of three weeks. He was a retired merchant. A native of Chowan County, Mr. Boyce was the son of the late Ephriam J. Boyce and Mrs. Irene Dail Miller and the hushaad of Mrs. Gertrude Small Boyce. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, E. J. Boyce, Jr., of Edenton; a daughter, Mrs. Jackie Miller of Edenton; a brother, Alton Miller of Florida; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn P. Smith of Elizabeth City;, and three grandchildren. He was a member of Yeopim Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at 3 P.M. Monday in Williford-Barham Funeral Chapel with Rev. C. L. Brewer officiating. Burial was in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Vernon Lane, James, Everette 8., Everette and Richard Small and Bobby Miller. HONOR STUDENT I Keith Llewellyn Holley, a recent honor graduate of Bertie Senior High School, has received a scholarship to attend Winston-Salem State University where he will study business. He is the grandson of the late Martha , J. Holley of Merry Hill. Special Program Is Planned Ballard’s Bridge and Rocky Hock Baptist churches have combined youth choirs for a special presentation of the musical, “Life Unlimited.” The program will be presented at Rocky Hock at 11 A.M. Sunday and at Ballard’s Bridge at 8 P.M. Tuesday the group will begin a tour which will take them to Lancaster, S. C., where they will sing at the Imanual Baptist Church. From there they will go to Florida to the First Baptist Church of Apopca. While in Florida they will tour Disney World, Cypress Gardens, Cape Kennedy and other places of interest. On the return trip they will appear at Boiling Springs Baptist Church in Southport and North Rocky Mount Baptist Church. They will return July 1. The choir is under the direction of Jack Evans.
